Writing 201: Poetry, Day Two – Gift

It is not easy to express by any way how thankful I am for God’s presence in my life. He gave me a lot of talents, an amazing husband and two beautiful children. Though all of my talents, no one of my skills can fully describe or express my feelings towards Him.
I wrote at least this short poem – using ACROSTIC – dedicated to our Lord.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
God gave me everything I have – and it is pretty much.
I don’t belong to myself, I don’t own anything.
Father with lion’s heart; unconditional love.
Thank You for all of Your gifts, this is my turn now.
Evil can’t separate me from You; just let him try.
Don’t ask me how much I love Him, peek through the keyhole into my heart.
  1. Nice poem! 🙂 No one can really separate us from God.
  2. What a lovely poem, it’s short but sweet and yet packs a punch with your message 🙂
    • Thank you! God is amazing and this is just a “nutshell” of my feelings :0) . Blessings!
  3. Times and seasons will pass, but not a jot of my love for you shall ever cease. That is the love of God for us. Beautiful post 🙂
