In response to the Photo 101 – Blogging University for the day five – Solitude (Rule of Thirds)

The last Poppy
It is getting late,
am I the last one here
who is still awake?
Dear river, sing a song for us,
the colours are fading
and the darkness falls,
with greyish colours and brush,
ready to turn everything to dark.
Beautiful words complimented by a great photo. Have you thought of using something like Pic monkey or some other photo programme to make the poppy “pop” a little more. Pic monkey is a google app and has a free basic version that a fellow blogger told me about. I have been having a bit of fun with it. I used it to resize photos and straighten horizon lines etc. It is can be a bit of fun. easy to use.
Thank you very much! ☺ I will check it out. Thanks for your advice. I had a good software but my laptop crashed and I am using a simple program now. But still I didn’t want to make it too redish. ☺
Light Room is a fantastic editing app!
Thanks for the tip Jenna. I used Zoner photo studio for some years now.
Thanks I will check it out.
You are welcome! ☺
A beautiful poem and a good shot.
Thank you very much, Jacqueline! ☺

Thanks a lot, Arv!☺
Lovely words and ultimate picture……..
Thank you! ☺
ooooo You got me sooooo excited to go shoot some poppies again this year!! They are just magnificent blooms!
Yes, I agree! ☺ To me the most beautiful flowers beside sunflowers 🌻
I am still awake. Good poem, Majka. I can proudly call you a poet. Please start writing poems, you can use imagery so well that I want to here more.
Well, I do it Paul since I was able to recognize the letters ☺ But I wrote in Slovak, then later also in Hungarian and I had few in German ☺ But these last three years I am practicing only writing in English to improve. I still don’t feel very confident to write a long article, but trying also some short ones. The last four years I was successful in children story writing in Slovakia, I have 4 children stories already published. ☺
That’s great! I felt it from your choice of words. You have word power and that’s what I look out for. I am really glad to have met you, and can’t wait to read your stories. Have a lovely weekend.
Thank you, Paul! ☺ I got this beautiful gift from God and I am very grateful for it.
You’re welcome, Majka. It’s really a beautiful one and you are using it well.
Have you ever think about sharing your posts on FB? I saw your page , but there is “only” your story.
I have been thinking about it. In fact, I am going to start posting the things from my blog on my page right away, since you have mentioned it. Thank you for reminding me, Majka.
You are most welcome! ☺
