Abrus precatorius – Crab’s eye, rosary pea, John Crow Bead, Indian licorice, Akar Saga
The seeds are used as nature beads in jewelry, but jewelry-making with these seeds is to some extend hazardous because the seeds are poisonous.
I love the popping colour in the foreground, then the muted browns, and in the far background, the green. Great depth of field!
