Sculpture Park – University of Technology, Kingston, Jamaica – Part #3

Here is the next part of the interesting sculptures at the Sculpture Park at University of Technology in Kingston, Jamaica.
This one I found quite interesting. I am not sure if I fully got the meaning of this sculpture, but I can see a man and a woman standing in the water, maybe river or sea. They thoughts are free like birds over their heads. It reminds me to some extend of Adam and Eve, until they didn’t sin against God. They didn’t feel shame to be naked, their hearts and minds were pure and free.

“Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.”
Genesis 2:25

Prof. Manuel Mendive Hoyo, author of the statue “Free Thought” is from Cuba. You can check some of his next projects here.
