Poems for flowers #8

Sakura blossom

Sakura blossom

Pink and soft like cotton candy
calling you to touch and smell,
wanting to rule all of your senses
promising sweet fruits
being your best friend…
And you believe and can’t resist
because it looks so innocent.

Yellow Iris

At the quiet river
is standing watch a Yellow Iris,
patiently looking around,
observing everything below and above.
Listening to each sound,
created whether by human deeds
and by nature, sounding so innocent.
A swan couple is whispering
at the nearby cane.
The Yellow Iris is standing watch,
can smell the love in the air.

Crown of Thorns, Christ Plant, Siamese Lucky Plant (Euphorbia milii)

Be careful while touching me, don’t come very close.
My crown is from thorns
and I don’t want you to be hurt,
just bring some nice spectacle, a little joy.

If you remember that sad, painful scene,
when Christ was walking to the Golgotha
with a heavy cross and a bleeding head,
cursed and hated, still quiet like a lamb…
So I got my second name.
(Christ Plant)

Two petals joined together
like Siamese siblings,
always beside each other.
Sometimes pink, sometimes red,
sometimes yelow or different,
but always one.
So I got my third name,
the “Siamese Lucky Plant”.

Poems for flowers #5

stars

fallen stars

I thought I am dreaming
when I saw the fallen stars.
I thought the night sky fell down
and covered the silent grass.
They were so bright and showed me the way,
I could’t get astray, I felt safe.
Those tiny fallen stars
in the silent grass
were my companion
while my journey home.

Poems for flowers #4

Some people say I am prickly and ugly,
but see the bees, they love me!
And the ants use to climb my thorns,
carefully crawling and playing around.
The butterflies enjoying my scent
and love licking my sweet pollen.
I also saw a humans with big round lens.
In the beginning I was afraid,
but then I realized they maybe like me as well.
They didn’t hurt me at all,
just made a couple of shots
and with a smile walked away.

Poems for flowers #3

So I stood on the stage
with loudly beating heart,
ready for my first performance
before the great audience
of grass, trees, flowers and bugs,
under the bright blue sky
and the golden sun.
My first performance.
My first song for the best audience,
who will listen with pleasure,
who will never judge and criticize.
