Whily relaxing on the stairs

Playful and cunning

ready to steel your kind heart

with innocent sight.

Photography 101, Day Sixteen: Treasure

In response to the Photo 101 – Blogging University for the day sixteen – Treasure (Zooming)

paw

Whily’s paw

I found the treasure in your eyes,
your sight would melt many hearts,
you love to be around me
and if you can lean your cheek on my feet,
or put your paws in my palms,
you are satisfied.

Share Your World – 2016 Week 11

In response to Cee’s Share Your World for the week 11

Swan

Swan – definitely one of my favourite animals

How many siblings do you have? What’s your birth order?
I have one older brother.

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?
I would definitely rather be a passanger. I have a driving license, but I don’t like driving.

When you lose electricity in a storm, do you light the candles or turn on the flashlight? How many of each do you own?
Here in our community we have power short outage approximately once or twice a month. We light candles and sometimes use the flashlight app in my mobile phone.

List at least five of your favorite types of animals?  (any animal to domestic to wild to marine life)
Who knows me a little bit, already realised my passion for swans. It is the most beautiful animal to me. I also love cats and dogs and I loved my Octodon degus. The next of my favorite ones are butterflies and ladybugs.

Bonus question:
What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am very grateful for God’s presence while taking my demo lesson exames for the online English teacher position. I passed them successfully and I can’t wait start teaching. I am also grateful for health and beautiful blooming mangoes. I can see already some tiny mangoes on some branches :).
I am looking forward to accomplish my other tasks and prepare myself for the teaching.

Lady – the last cat from our trio

In December I introduced you two of “our” yardy cats – Whily and Orange Bear.

This gentle girl is Lady. Her sight is somewhat wild but she is the softest one of our trio. Her voice is gentle and she will lay hours infront of the door whether she will get food or not. She rarely come alone, she is somewhat Whily’ s companion (but not his girlfriend). It is like she would be thinking: “Where this guy is there is food.”

Though she is very calm and almost “humble”, she is the fastest. Sometimes our two guys can just watch her enjoying the food we shared with them.

The calmness in his eyes

Yesterday I posted a photo of “my” big orange Bear and I am really grateful for all the likes he got. It is not for me, for the nice shot, but for him and his story. Thanks a lot!

Now here is “our” Whily – spending a while here and a while there… but mostly around me. He is a little spoiled  (who did this to him? 😇).
When we just moved to this house, he used to come time to time, but never allowed to anybody to touch him, nor pet him, he was even afraid to eat the food we offered him.
Everything changed after I decided that he is going to become “my” darling.
It took me maybe a month to get his trust and I remember the day when I sat outside and did some handwork and he was laying in my lap. Our neighbor was like 😮 “really?!”
He has the privilege to come inside, but only to the kitchen. He knows very well, he is not allowed to enter any other room and when I am in our bedroom, he is calmly laying in the hallway.
Sometimes, when the rain is very heavy, he use to beg me with his big eyes to allow him to stay inside.

The scars on his nose – those little dots – are the marks from his “friend” orange Bear. ☺
