In response to Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie with the First Line Friday: August 27, 2021, with the first line:

Nights in our desert were clear and cold

Nights in our desert were clear and cold.

You could see the clear sky, and all those shining stars…

but you didn’t look.

You had your eyes only for me,

searching for more than stars.

Nights in our desert were clear and cold,

and so were your hands,

wraping my waist.

There is no space for words,

let’s just listen to the orchestra of our hearts.

Nights in our desert were clear and cold,

You could see the clear sky, and all those shining stars…

But you never looked.

The sky came down to you, to us,

under the night’s cold blanket, we found the love.

Photo Challenge #371

My entry for this week’s Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Photo Challenge is a Haiku.

Too late

Confused and alone
The fading lights of the train
She arraived too late
