Photo 101, Day Two: Street & Establishing Shots

street

Vlkolinec, Northern Carpathians, Slovakia.

Beautiful, simply, historical and “untouched” . Walking on the streets of Vlkolinec takes you back to Medieval Times. The village is calm and peaceful, the time has stopped here and so can your hectic life atlest for a while.

  1. Lovely photo! Is it already snowing in Slovakia?

We will be visiting every country over the summer / fall and are looking for new destinations to visit.

    Cheers!

    • Thank you Mark for visiting and liking my blog.
The pic is from my archive (I am living in Jamaica now), Slovakia is sunny right now 🙂 so it is the best time for traveling and enjoying the beauties of Slovakia. Blessed traveling!

      • I’m sure that Jamaica is wonderful right now, also.
We look forward to getting some beautiful shots while we are on our trip, and I look forward to more photos from your archive.
        Cheers!

      • Thanks a lot Mark… I appreciate your interest. You can check my older posts from Slovakia, there are some nice shots from Trencin my birth city and if you like history you will find a lot of beautiful shots of ruins and castles. Blessed day!

  2. Beautiful picture. I think that it shows the theme very well….maybe more importantly, it draws the viewer (aka me) into the moment and really makes me want to climb that hill. Maybe being invited in for a cup of tea in one of the charming homes.

    • Thanks a lot for your comment and liking. The interiors of the houses are beautiful furnished with traditional furniture and dishes. I really loved it.
