In response to the Writing 101 with a word prompt Reflection here is my entry:
The face inside the rain drop
I stood amazed
when I saw the little face
hidden inside the drop.
I felt like I am looking
through a fragile ball of glass
yet I saw the baby’s gentle smile,
touching its tiny lips,
does it want to say something?
I stood amazed,
thinking “am I still dreaming?”
or am I already awake
looking at this innocent baby face.
This photo I took some months ago after a calm rainy evening. It was very nice as the drops calmly hang on the top of the pine needles .
When I edited my photos and zoomed in this one I wondered about the face inside the drop. I was thinking it is maybe my reflection but… if you look closer it looks more like a tiny baby inside a rain drop.
Well it is all up to you what you can exactly see. The imagination doesn’t know borders. ☺

A beautiful photo and lovely words.
Thanks, Andy! ☺ I appreciate you like it. Have a great day!
My pleasure, have a great day too!
It’s so wonderful when you notice the things that are so easily overlooked. Thanks for sharing this observant perspective.

Oh I see it! It does look like a tiny fairy baby or leaf baby. How cute!

You are welcome!
It took me a while but I did see it eventually. Though as I was trying, I kept thinking this was a beautiful poem and this is a beautiful photo anyway, but then I saw it.
So I thank you for the challenge as well 🙂
You are most welcome! ☺ And thanks for your comment!
