Writing 101, Day 2: Reflection

In response to the Writing 101 with a word prompt Reflection here is my entry:

The face inside the rain drop

I stood amazed
when I saw the little face
hidden inside the drop.
I felt like I am looking
through a fragile ball of glass
yet I saw the baby’s gentle smile,
touching its tiny lips,
does it want to say something?
I stood amazed,
thinking “am I still dreaming?”
or am I already awake
looking at this innocent baby face.

This photo I took some months ago after a calm rainy evening.  It was very nice as the drops calmly hang on the top of the pine needles .
When I edited my photos and zoomed in this one I wondered about the face inside the drop. I was thinking it is maybe my reflection but… if you look closer it looks more like a tiny baby inside a rain drop.
Well it is all up to you what you can exactly see. The imagination doesn’t know borders. ☺
