Summer memories – Buckler’s Hard, New Forest East, Hampshire, UK

Buckler’s Hard is a hamlet on the banks of the Beaulieu River in the English county of Hampshire. With its Georgian cottages running down to the river, Buckler’s Hard is part of the 9,000-acre Beaulieu Estate. The hamlet is some 2.5 miles south of the village of Beaulieu. Wikipedia

We took the trip to this amazing place last summer, and I loved the scenery. We were walking down the village passing well-uniformed cottages saluting on both sides of the village. Some of the cottages were transformed into small museums, which you shouldn’t miss visiting.

The atmosphere inside these museums is stunning. You will hear people talking in the background which will draw you back to the 18th century. Men chatting in the Inn, baby crying in the crib, parents having a discussion about their kids, and so much more. I was impressed by the details you will see in the pictures below. The composition of the characters, food, and daily items. I just felt I want to stay and listen and look and enjoy the moment, but our two little ones had different plans 😏
Since we promised them a boat ride, it was time to move on and keep the promise.
Finishing our little trip with an ice cream treat, I do believe, everyone was satisfied.

Summer memories – Longdown Activity Farm, New Forest, Hampshire, UK

Traveling accross the New Forest District, you will be passing by many farms, but the Londown Activity Farm is the right place, if you love not only looking at the animals but, if you would love to touch, caress and feed them.

I was very happy discovering this place as our trips are mostly focused on places, where our two toddlers can have some fun, lots of fun! 😀

So much excitement caressing these little ones 🐤🐹

…and a little bigger ones 🐷🐮

… riding the tractor and operating the digger 🚜

These are only few of many activities, you and your children will definitelly love.

Happy and smily Monday to you all!

I would love to bring a little smile to your faces and ease your Monday today with the explanation of how my 3yo son views these very common and well knows parking signs. 😊

(With all respect and apology to the disabled).

This weekend, we went to one of the supermarkets to fill up our fridge and cupboards, and when stepping out of the car, my 3yo son pointed at the Family parking sign saying:
“Mommy, I have to hold your hand like that, the cars are dangerous!” 😎

Passing by another sing for the disabled, he pointed on this sign saying:
“Mommy, I have to use the potty, I have to sit on the potty.” 😅

Are there any signs your kiddos explained in their own way?

I made a deal and I am back

When I look back at the date, I posted here for the last time, I just can’t believe it has been almost 4 years! 😵

I have been pretty active few years back, living a little bit of a different life, in a different environment and having so much spare time. Not only for walking around and taking pictures or writing but the overall freedom, I am talking about.

So what exactly changed?

A lot!

Firstly, I moved from Europe to the UK. That was btw a pretty wise step and this probably wouldn’t happen, if my husband wouldn’t force me to go and let see, what opportunities we have got there.

So I moved, I had a look and after a few weeks, my husband joined me. And we are still here :). After a year, his mother and my daughter joined us as well, and I do believe, they are living a little better life now with lots of opportunities. We’ve got our small jobs in the beginning and the more serious jobs, we moved house few times, and we just love all the opportunities for the personal, spiritual and professional growth.

I have got disconnected from activities I loved because of the lack of free time, but I have never disconnected from God. It is impossible! Thank God! 🙏🙌

We also “multiplied” :))) . Yes, unbelievable, but after few miscarriages and lots of prayers, we are proud parents of not 1, but two little sunny bunnies (our older is almost 3yo and our younger is 1yo). So all in all, I became a mom of 4 in total! Wow! I Would never imagine this was possible few years ago, honestly.

We experienced a big lost as well.

My father passed away few months ago, when his body couldn’t fight the spreading cancer anymore.

I think these are the highlights from the past 4 years and I just feel, I would like to continue, where I stopped such a long time ago. I also made a deal with one of my friends, that I will be back if not in May 2021, it will be definitely the summer 2021.

Not sure yet about the next post, but I have some pictures, I will definitely share soon and some other stuff, I am working on 🙂

I hope, you all have a lovely day/evening and I will be back very soon 🙂
