The next sculpture from the Sculpture Park at UTECH in Kingston, Jamaica depicts two students, who are focusing on their studies surrounded by books and quiet environment. I didn’t find the author and the title, because the plate was removed.
I am glad to introduce you the next masterpiece by Laura Facey. This sculpture was made for the Health & Applied Science Faculty. The two subject – human and compass (divider) speak aloud about the untold title.
This is the 2nd one of the many sculptures at the UTECH’s Sculpture Park. This sculpture is a gift from Trinidad and Tobago. The author, Ken Morris left it Untitled.

Horse head
One of the donation for the UTECH (University of Technology) in Kingston, Jamaica, the 2nd largest university in Jamaica.
The horse is made from screws and different components and is located in the heart of the campus, at the University Sculpture Park.
The work, carved from dark mahogany is intended to signify the struggle of the black man to break free from slavery in to freedom and, metaphorically, Jamaica’s struggle for independence.
