Libraries and Bookstores — CFFC

I was so glad I found the post from teleportingweena today and realised, Dan Antion is now hosting CFFC. I participated in multiple Cee’s weekly prompts in the past, so I’m happy to continue to keep her memory alive.

My response to Dan’s prompt Libraries and Bookstores is below. Libraries and bookstores are places where I find my peace. The libraries have a particular scent you won’t find anywhere else, and if you would like to name the notes as those the perfumes have, you would probably say the top note is the idea, the heart is the story on the paper, and the base is the experience you have when reading the book.

Below is one of the rooms at the crazy gold we love to go to, with this library obstacle 🙂

Sculpture Park – University of Technology, Kingston, Jamaica – Part #6

The next sculpture from the Sculpture Park at UTECH in Kingston, Jamaica depicts two students, who are focusing on their studies surrounded by books and quiet environment. I didn’t find the author and the title, because the plate was removed.

Share Your World – 2016 Week #14

In response to Cee’s Share Your World for the week #14

Yellow Iris

Yellow Iris

If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?
I like to do everything by myself, so I know it is well done and don’t need to argue with anybody 🙂 Maybe if I am very reach one day, I will hire somebody for cleaning. :DDD

What makes you laugh the most?
Funny animals compilations

What was your favorite food when you were a child?
Sweet rice pudding and French potatoes (baked potatoes with sausage and boiled eggs covered with sour cream)

List at least five favorite flowers or plants.
Sunflower, Red Poppy, Iris, Tulip, Daffodil

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful for the rain and for the sun. The mangoes are almost ripe and I can’t wait to enjoy them. Hmmmmmm 🙂

I am looking forward to reading more books. I read a lot of books some years ago and I had a huge library. I could carry only few of them with me (I would need a special air plane only for books), but there is a nice library in New Kingston, so I will start to visit it more often.

My library

this was my library back in Slovakia 🙂
