Bread

This is my first poem for Open Link Night which has been introduced to me by Victoria , a dVerse participant. Thank you! ☺
I will link this poem to the Hands prompt from the Poetic Tuesday at dVerse. So here is my entry for the Open Link Night-168

*Note: This is not a recipe ☺

bread

Hands getting white
sifting the white flour
into the white plastic bowl.
Two teaspoons of yeast
a pinch of salt,
warm milk is wetting the flour.
Fingers sliding into the mass
forming the dough.
The value of hard hand work
will appear soon,
when putting the warm bread
on the white ceramic plate.

  1. I can imagine the smell of it cooking — love!

    • Yes, it smells very nice and my husband can’t wait to taste it. Thanks for your comment, Michael ☺
