bread

Hands getting white
sifting the white flour
into the white plastic bowl.
Two teaspoons of yeast
a pinch of salt,
warm milk is wetting the flour.
Fingers sliding into the mass
forming the dough.
The value of hard hand work
will appear soon,
when putting the warm bread
on the white ceramic plate.

Share Your World – 2016 Week 9

image

In response to Cee’s Share your world for week #9

Have you done something you truly want to do today?
I woke early yesterday, because I promised to my husband to bake a bread, so he can eat some of it for his late breakfast. The bread didn’t have time to cool down and my beloved husband already “attacked” it with a big bread knife (and I couldn’t take a photo before this attack since I was outside hanging out the laundry).

What can you help the world with?
Each one of us came to this world with a purpose. I believe sharing God’s Word, listening to people, sharing nice thoughts and experiences, even art or beautiful photos… anything can help even if we maybe think we don’t have the power or it does not worth it.

If life was ‘just a bowl of cherries’… which fruit other than a cherry would you be..?
Though cherries are very refreshing and nice by passing time this bowl would turn to a “redish-grey” sight and flavor. I believe it is important to have a diversity of flavors and colours in our lives. But the first fruit I would definitely add is Mango.

Quotes List: At least three of your favorite quotes?
I know here suppose to be at least three quotes but if you don’t mind I will mention three of my favourite verses from the Bible.

  1. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18 (NIV)
  2. Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7 (NIV)
  3. Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Matthew 6:25 (NIV)

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am very grateful that my daughter has been recovered very quickly from her fever and that all of us are healthy. I also got a very nice email from the team leader of Slovak translator team for the Bible App, YouVersion, where he offered me to become a co-team leader. I was very honored by this opportunity and it’s a big step in regards to my development for serving to our Lord.
This week I want to finish my new assignment for my monthly challenge Draw or paint your feelings and be successful in job interview for an online English teacher.

Michael W. Smith – Breathe

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
