Today I chose this friend again ☺. Thy are everywhere, but watching them while relaxing outside is really funny. Sometimes they will just enjoy the sun, sometimes they will observe the big creature with that “strange one eyed black thing” in its hand. Well this is the fun of my Sunday’s photo hunting – observing as well and capturing.

These tiny spiders live in our yard and there are a lot of them here. This one has a white back and is very common in Jamaica. The body has a star shape or looks like a tiny crab, therefore its common name is star spider or crab-like orbweaver spider. There are more colour combination of these spiders and my husband explained me, they use to play with them, when he was a child and each colour would have a “special power”. 🙂 He even told me, he didn’t know, that it is actually a spider, until he grew up.

This bug is so tiny and in a dark grass almost invisible, but on this weed it was like a copper brooch on a green shawl.

I know a lot of you still experience cool mornings and cool days, yards and roofs covered by snow, waiting for the first signs of the Spring. It is not so far as long as it won’t be like three years ago in Slovakia, where the Winter decided to stay until early May. It was annoying and people felt depressed, missed the sun and warmth.
These photos were taken some years back in Slovakia while my usual weekend walk by the river.
I want to bring a little Spring atmosphere to all of you who already miss the scent of blossoms and honeybees’ humming.
