Weekly Photo Challenges: Half-Light

In response to Weekly Photo Challenges with the Half-Light theme

When the darkness comes

When the darkness comes

“When The Darkness Comes”

Underneath the echoes
Buried in the shadows
There you were

Drawn into your mystery
I was just beginning
To see your ghost
But you must know

I’ll be here waiting
Hoping, praying that
This light will guide you home
When you’re feeling lost I’ll leave my love
Hidden in the sun
For when the darkness comes

Now the door is open
The world I knew is broken
There’s no return
Now my heart is not scared
Just knowing that you’re out there
Watching me
So believe

I’ll be here waiting
Hoping, praying that
This light will guide you home
When you’re feeling lost I’ll leave my love
Hidden in the sun
For when the darkness comes

(Oh oh oh)
For when the darkness comes

Be here waiting
Hoping, praying that
This light will guide you home
When you’re feeling lost I’ll leave my love
Hidden in the sun
For when the darkness comes

Hidden in the sun
For when the darkness comes

Vag river and Trencin's Castle

Vag river and Trencin’s Castle

Silent witness of history,
standing proudly on the rock.
Ancient scent is hovering over the town,
touching the river and trees,
I feel it on my skin,
laying in the cool grass.

The Weekly Photo Challenges: State of Mind

In response to The Weekly Photo Challenges with a State of Mind theme

Joy and freedom

Joy and freedom

This photo is speaking very very loud. It is full of joy and freedom, two emotions I felt walking beside these beautiful Red Poppies. I love them so so much.

Happiness and love

Happiness and love

Happiness and love captured in this photo. Mother with her baby swan. The sky is bright and the air is fresh and full of summer scents.

melancholy

Melancholy

The exact opposite whispering from this photo. Cloudy and cold weather, seagulls screaming… walking alone at the Vag river carrying a mixture of thoughts and emotions.

I am not alone

I am not alone

Each cloud has a silver lining (maybe golden in this case). Being with my children at the river, having some nice time. Though it was cold and everything was wrapped in grey, the melancholy couldn’t enter our hearts.
