Coffee and old libraries scent
In response to the Poetry 101 Rehab with the word prompt MISSING
Coffee and old libraries scent
Sometimes I miss words
going down on my knees.
Sometimes I miss sun
covered by heavy clouds.
Sometimes I miss your smile
when your eyes are wet by tears.
Sometimes I miss ideas
when challenges are crossing my life.
But I’m always missing the scent
of morning coffee mixed with the old libraries.
Psalm 119:15
Sunday Photo Fiction – June 14th 2015
– Now! Come Boo, hurry! – whispered Tito.
– Not yet. Big Mouth said exactly at three o’clock. We can’t destroy everything now just because you are afraid. –
The last statement was again a hit below the belt. He did it again and again and I felt the anger because he was right. Yes I was afraid but this was my first big project with him. Everybody knew Boo never fails. I felt the heartbeat in my throat.
– Are you always this calm? It is there something what can make you afraid or unsure? –
I was really curious because Boo’s face always looked like a piece of stone, calm and confident.
– Hm, I am not perfect Tito. I just can’t… –
The tower clock interrupted his voice. It rang once… twice… three times. We jumped over the fence and run to the gallery. The street was empty and I didn’t realize when the lady with the old folk in the wheelchair disappeared.
We entered the gallery but the lights were off. The air was a little heavy.
I stretched my hand to reach Boo’s shoulder but I hit my foot. I tried to recognize what stand in my way. When I reached the thing I almost shouted loud but I quickly covered my mouth with my hand. I almost fell in the wheelchair.
….to be continued (I would need a lot more words 🙂 )
Blogging 101, Day Four: Identify Your Audience
Let’s enjoy the life! (from the shadow to the colourful life).
There was a time I shared my thoughts and feelings only with some few friends but first at all with my notebook. I felt often depressed and my best valve was writing. After I moved from the town I lived in for almost 30 years I felt more free and I found the next valve in photography. The news, the magazines and people are full of negative thoughts. The depression and bad mood like to take a walk with us so often just because we choose to be frustrated instead of blessed and thankful.
I created my blog to bring the readers nice words, hope, joy of the colours and inspirations. My native is the Slovak language. While my pictures can “speak” to everybody and to all nations I realised if I want to spread and share my thoughts and words all around the world it is the best to use the language it is the most preferred here on WordPress.com. Anybody is the most welcomed to read to look and to share anything he like. It will be always my greatest pleasure to post the next and next photos, thoughts and projects.
